Victoria’s Secrets & Salt Kisses

I haven’t been able to get enough of Laguna Beach recently and have been in the water more this fall then I was all summer it seems (no complaints). I try to never get used to the fact that I live so close to the beach so that I never lose sight of the beauty that I am blessed enough to be surrounded by. I still am so thrilled that I got to collaborate with Victoria’s Secret on some of my own person styles in their swimwear. If you didn’t see my first post on them you can check it out here. My collection of their bikinis is growing and I blame it on their wide selection of amazing designs!

The Freckles in the Sky

Balboa Island bring out the kid in me with the smell of corn dogs and cotton candy lingering in the air. The simple arcade is vacant and the ferris wheel is idle making the perfect relaxed  evening out. The lovely people over at Selection Nation sent over a couple necklaces that were so beautiful and brought the perfect pop to my outfit.

Pretty in Pink

Sun is out, waves are crashing, and the sand is still warm while venturing over to Crescent Bay in Laguna beach where I was  instantly thrown into paradise. I always get thrilled over a new bikini because I am in one almost everyday, so I was ecstatic when I was given the opportunity to collaborate with Victoria’s Secret swim line. I am wearing the Bombshell top and matching bottoms from their very sexy collection. It fit so comfortably and had great coverage along with making you feel like a super model when you put it on! It also comes in over 15 different colors and patterns 😉

Fallin’ For You

The Fall clouds have been glooming over Huntington Beach these past few mornings  creating a heather grey blanket over the sky while the sun hides under it. Though I miss the rays warming up the beach and prolonging the life of my tan, I am digging how the streets have slowed down to cool off. Throwing on a loose sweater makes me feel cozy and stylish which sometimes is a hard combo to master when it comes to fashion. Luckily, our friend’s over at Lulu’s sent over some warm threads that are soft to touch and have the right amount of funky to liven up the gloom in the air.

The Girl and The Water

Ladies, wondering where to shop all your favorite brands for the most stylish bikinis? The girl and The Water has everything you could want from reversible, Brazilian, one pieces, and fringe. They sent over an exclusive suit from Mary Grace Swimwear and I loved how the bottoms has minimal coverage but still stayed in place while I wandered around Laguna Beach. It’s reversible grey and red so it’s like I have 2 suits in one! Check out TGATW for even more varieties of bikinis to choose from!

All the Stars & the Flowers.

Newport Beach has been beautiful lately, then again, when is it not? I caught the sun just before it left only the moon hanging in the sky and turned it a beautiful pink and blue. Mandalynn Swimwear sent a bikini that is so chic and girly which made me instantly fall in love when I put it on. My Flowerbomb top and bottom are made of Spandex and Nylon that are soft and light on the skin. They are moderately cheeky and perfect for any body type.

On Wednesdays We Wear LUNCCHB0XX

What do you think of when you first hear quotes such as “You can’t sit with us”, “You go Glen Coco”, and “She doesn’t even go here!” ? That’s right…Mean Girls. Luncchb0xx clothing is a slice of clever pie mixed with some retro tie dye all made by one dude with one awesome brain. Mean Girls is turning into one of those cult classics that is being quoted more and more since its release in 2004, and in its honor, this Wednesday we’re wearing pink.

Dumpster Treasures

It’s no secret that I sometimes like to pull things out of dumpsters and bring the items home with me (totally not weird). Things like dishes, old lamps, picture frames, and  even a sweater. There are some times when I come across things that are really nifty, like an old skate deck that is unridable and someone thought to be garbage. If you ever see old surfboards, skateboards, or scrap wood, scoop them up! You could turn it into a really cool custom art piece.

I decided I wanted to make a magazine collage on my board. I rounded up old surf magazines and cut out photos that inspired me.

Once you figure out how you want to place the magazine cut outs on your board, grab some rubber cement (Hobby Lobby) and use a fair amount to glue the pieces, but not too much so that the paper becomes soggy! Finish up with a gloss coating over the entire front to give extra protection against tearing and give it some shine. Hang it up on your wall and you’ve got a cool art piece you made all on your own 🙂

Pretty radical, right? 😉
