There once was a girl who loved cutesy boutiques so much. One day she stumbled upon Irene’s Story, a chic little store in the heart of downtown Huntington Beach. With all it’s charm and all her delight, she felt as if it was the perfect fit.

Hi all, going off a recent post about this fab boutique I come to you with my next outfit post from Irene’s Story. I found a farming black and white floral dress and grabbed one of their flowy shirts to try on over it, I was smitten! I enjoy shopping here because the store is right by the beach and in the middle of all the HB chaos it brings a little shabby feel to the area (there threads are also wallet friendly!) I strolled roof top at the Hollywood tower with Cass and we shot this outfit before grabbing dinner at Franklin & Co. What do you all think?

WTRMLN WTR

Yummmm, one of the best things about summer is sitting outside enjoying the heat and sipping on a fun refreshing drink. I have been on a search to find healthy, new products that still taste great and struck gold when I tried WTRMLN WTR. It’s cold pressed watermelon and includes everything but the skin, no water added so you know you are getting all the deliciousness and nutrients that you need.

Slappy Hour x Kristen Williams

Hello readers! I am really excited to share with all of you a little collaboration I just recently worked on. My buddy and talented skater, Travis, started his own skate company (Slappy Hour Skate Co.) where he takes old decks are reshapes them for new use. It’s such an awesome idea and and cool way to recycle. We decided it would be fun to get some of my custom art work on a few of them so I hand painted some decks and they are now up for sale on the site! Slappy Hour decks are only $30-$40, so pick one up and get skating!

Meet Me by the Reef

Hollywood is such a fun city, if you know the right places to go. I love visiting the city because it feels so different compared to Orange County. I spent my day with Cass as we floated around the Hollywood tower snapping some photos, & enjoying the panoramic view of the Hollywood sign and Griffith observatory. We are so excited that our friends from Bollare sent over some Reef shoes to us this summer! These are the flip flops I picked out, super comfy and convenient with a cute little print.

My Day with Talee

We all have those friends who capture and mirror off pure energy (if we’re lucky) Those friends who are always up for a dare, help push you to your goals, and speak words of encouragement whenever you are going through a battle in life (again, if we are lucky!) I love that I have a friend like that, her name is Talee. She is a singer/songwriter and just opened her own yoga studio in SoCal, check it out here! Spending a day with a fellow hippie and songbird makes any day feel like summer. This is my day with Talee.

Keep Austin Weird

It’s time for a little travel, wouldn’t ya say? Especially it being summer and all, we all need a little get away to keep our lives full of adventure and even spontaneity 😉 I was just sitting up stairs in my parents house in Fort Worth thinking to myself…’AUSTIN’. It had been on my mind for a while and I haven’t visited in some odd years so I was itching to get back to the funky city. I picked up my phone, text my best friend at work and told her “This weekend we are going to Austin”. She was down so we made plans to stay in a cute cottage we found on airbnb.com (SO cute!) All weekend we ate BBQ, ventured 6th street, visited Hamilton Pool, and made some fun new friends.

This spot was awesome with a short easy hike down. Get there early to avoid a long wait to get in (it packs up fast) bring water and some floaties to relax in the water with!

This amazing one bedroom home had everything you could want. My favorite part was the out door shower AND the outdoor bathtub!

Because it wouldn’t be a proper trip to Austin without going 😉

There are so many great things I could share about Austin, most of which you need to discover on your own…I hope you all get to make it there one day if you haven’t already!

Fiik Yeah!

Summer is the perfect time to try new things and push your limits…at least that’s how I always spend the season! I try to do something active outside everyday because a little fresh air and exercise has always been the best combo to getting fit and staying healthy. So a little about Fiik Electric Skateboards, I know what you’re thinking…”It’s an electric board, how in the world is that exercise” TRUST me! If you like to carve, do power slides, or work on your balance then you will definitely feel it in your legs after a day on one of these bad boys. (My favorite was the street surfer). I rode around with pro athlete Reno Makani and absolutely fell for this company.

Roses in the Wild

I enjoy summer so much, especially going on walks with my mother around the neighborhood. We enjoy the beauty in the backyard and point out the importance of every flower. If we could walk around all day just exploring then I’m sure we would.

In Huntington Beach right downtown there is a cute little boutique called Irene’s Story that I stumbled upon and really loved. Their clothes are trendy with a boho feel while being reasonably priced compared to the other boutiques around them. This dress is perfect for a summer night out, to church, tea with your friends, or walking around with your mom 🙂 Be sure to stay tuned for more outfit posts featuring Irene’s Story!

Saltwater Room

I think it’s obvious I love bikinis and I dig the fact that I pretty much get to live in one out here in SoCal. What’s a special gem is when I find an amazing one piece suit. They are great for surfing if you’re going to ditch the wetsuit (especially because I’m always concerned that my bikini top will fly off. 😛 ) Of course Hurley never fails when it comes to swim wear so I was extremely happy when they sent over this white and black number. It’s also pretty rad that the inside lining is leopard print so when it gets wet you can see the cool pattern. IMG_5093 copy xokris

Feelin’ Boho Blu

How is everyone enjoying June so far? I love summer wardrobe and fashion so much because of how simple it is. I basically live in dresses and rompers and really love this specific one from BohoBlu. I’m usually too tall for rompers leaving me sad that I can’t sport most of them so I was thrilled when BohoBlu sent me one that was long enough to make the perfect fit!
