I love going to Corona Del Mar because of all the amazing hidden coves and crashing water in the tide pools. I had so much fun exploring the spot I frequently go to while trying out my new Gemelliย bikini. Hot pink=a smile on my face. I cruised with the windows down while jamming ‘Doin’ it Right’ by Daft Punk and thought about how blessed I was this season. Hope you are all having a great Holiday season so far. ๐
I love fall with all my heart even though it means the days are pretty much cut in half when the sun clocks out at 5:30 p.m. every night. I’ve been spending so much time with friends and family which is making my heart more fulfilled every day. I love this outfit because kimonos are becoming a little more popular to wear here in OC. I’ve been seeing them in so many more stores and I love it because they are fun to throw on over a sundress to spice it up and also over your bikini if you’re going to the beach. This one was sent over from Lulu’s.Get this Kimono here.

I’ve never been the biggest Britney Spears fan but her new song “Perfume” is pretty awesome. ๐
Hot and then cold, the days have been bipolar recently here in Huntington Beach. We had a good streak of sunshine days and then got hit with a few cold rainy ones. On the days the sun makes its appearance I am taking delight in hanging out in the rays. I ventured over to Corona Del Mar recently and wandered around the giant rocks. I was sent this beautiful suit from Lady Lux that fit me perfectly. The colors are a autumn neutral with a pop of purple, great for all skin colors.
Our 90s week winds down to an end but we had SO much fun giving some of our modern clothes a different spin in salute to the awesome decade. We enjoyed hearing what everyone favorite bands, trends, and TV shows were from the 90s on our Instagram (follow us).
I love baby tees because of the perfect fit they put to my body type. My closet is growing with them and they go great with long maxi skirts. Also in the 90s I loved wearing colorful bracelets so I threw on these candy colored pieces from SCMYK.
Continuing on with our 90s week I pulled one of my favorite decade styles and cruised around downtown Huntington Beach. Spaghetti strapped sundresses with a white baby tee underneath is a perfect way to prolong your summer summer wardrobe when it gets slightly chilly outside. And who can forget jelly shoes?! I rocked these when I was a kid (I had the clear sparkly pink ones) and I am so excited that they are making their way back into our closets.

If the 90’s are back then color me ecstatic. I went on a quest to find some amazing clear bags. I remember transparent EVERYTHING being popular on the kindergarden playground and I was absolutely obsessed with thinking about owning a house full of clear couches, phones, dishes, and backpacks. (I was always an interesting kiddo) I was really happy when I came across Clear-Handbags and they sent over my dream backpack. I was also gaga over Lisa Frankback in the 90’s so I decided to take a page out of Cassandra’s book (see post here.) and decorated my new bag to give it an even more 90’s feel. Keep checking back with us this week as we fill the blog with our favorite decade!
What’s in my bag? Headphones and iPod because I can’t go anywhere without my music, ring pop to fuel my sugar rush, Vera Bradley compact mirror, pencil case, and note paper, journal for my thoughts, and my favorite magazines.
I keep hearing talk of snow, bundling by the fire, and christmas decorating. Totally not complaining! The holidays are right around the corner and one of my most favorite times of the year full of nostalgia, family, love, and pie. ๐ I’ve been really exploring the closets of Hurley and discovering pieces I didn’t know the sporty brand held. This has been one of my favorite companies to collaborate with because the style fits my personality so well. I go giddy over jackets and this one sent me over the moon. Perfect for the California “winter”.
Looking for a trendy online boutique to find the perfect dress? Aren’t we girls always on that search? I ย have a special place in my heart for Red Dress Boutique because I ย find myself pointing out almost every item saying “I need this!”…Not in a compulsive way, these dresses are all really a must have in your closet. Their store is also full of adorable bags, scarves, and jewelry. If you’re somewhere a little frigid in the winter you can always pair them with tights, knee socks, and cute sweaters.
I haven’t been able to get enough of Laguna Beach recently and have been in the water more this fall then I was all summer it seems (no complaints). I try to never get used to the fact that I live so close to the beach so that I never lose sight of the beauty that I am blessed enough to be surrounded by. I still am so thrilled that I got to collaborate with Victoria’s Secret on some of my own person styles in their swimwear. If you didn’t see my first post on them you can check it out here. My collection of their bikinis is growing and I blame it on their wide selection of amazing designs!

The sun is falling asleep and the sand is glowing pink. One of my favorite things to do is watch the amazing sunsets here in Huntington Beach. They have been so beautiful lately so I tossed on one of my flowing dresses from Lulu’s and headed for a stroll to watch the sky change colors. I really like the romantic look of this dress along with the open back on it.
