I always love a skull as a statement piece on whatever I’m wearing. A very fun clothing line called AvaLynn James sent over this pleather skirt embellished with gold skull studs. With Halloween coming up you could use this skirt for some awesome costume ideas and still wear it after the candy corn holiday is over. One of my favorite colors to wear is black, sometimes it’s a little difficult to pull off without looking goth so I went with light eyes, natural lips, and opaque tights as opposed to solid black.

Feeling Peachy in Hurley

I am so excited to announce that Style Smoothie is working with Hurley on a fall/winter lookbook (and of course in southern California it looks much like summer). Hurley has always been one of my favorite surf/skate brands for all the diversity they create in the their woman’s line. Check out this outfit that is super girly, and perfect for a back to school outfit. Would you wear these Hurley threads?

Day Dream Believin’

Day dreamers everywhere, if you are looking for fresh, edgy, fun tanks I’ve found the brand for you. Hips and Hair has such a huge variety of tees and tanks it will be hard to decide what you want (that’s good, though!). You can shop them online and also shop their styles at PacSun.

I love going to the beach at sunset when it starts cooling down. I paired my tank with some denim jeans.

Another day I felt extra flirty and paired it with a lace skirt and knee high socks.
