Our 90s week winds down to an end but we had SO much fun giving some of our modern clothes a different spin in salute to the awesome decade. We enjoyed hearing what everyone favorite bands, trends, and TV shows were from the 90s on our Instagram (follow us).

I love baby tees because of the perfect fit they put to my body type. My closet is growing with them and they go great with long maxi skirts. Also in the 90s I loved wearing colorful bracelets so I threw on these candy colored pieces from SCMYK.

Do I Make Myself Clear? (90’s Week!)

If the 90’s are back then color me ecstatic. I went on a quest to find some amazing clear bags. I remember transparent EVERYTHING being popular on the kindergarden playground and I was absolutely obsessed with thinking about owning a house full of clear couches, phones, dishes, and backpacks. (I was always an interesting kiddo) I was really happy when I came across Clear-Handbags and they sent over my dream backpack. I was also gaga over Lisa Frank back in the 90’s so I decided to take a page out of Cassandra’s book (see post here.) and decorated my new bag to give it an even more 90’s feel. Keep checking back with us this week as we fill the blog with our favorite decade!

What’s in my bag? Headphones and iPod because I can’t go anywhere without my music, ring pop to fuel my sugar rush, Vera Bradley compact mirror, pencil case, and note paper, journal for my thoughts, and my favorite magazines.

I keep hearing talk of snow, bundling by the fire, and christmas decorating. Totally not complaining! The holidays are right around the corner and one of my most favorite times of the year full of nostalgia, family, love, and pie. 😉 I’ve been really exploring the closets of Hurley and discovering pieces I didn’t know the sporty brand held. This has been one of my favorite companies to collaborate with because the style fits my personality so well. I go giddy over jackets and this one sent me over the moon. Perfect for the California “winter”.

Looking for a trendy online boutique to find the perfect dress? Aren’t we girls always on that search? I have a special place in my heart for Red Dress Boutique because I find myself pointing out almost every item saying “I need this!”…Not in a compulsive way, these dresses are all really a must have in your closet. Their store is also full of adorable bags, scarves, and jewelry. If you’re somewhere a little frigid in the winter you can always pair them with tights, knee socks, and cute sweaters.

Victoria’s Secrets & Salt Kisses

I haven’t been able to get enough of Laguna Beach recently and have been in the water more this fall then I was all summer it seems (no complaints). I try to never get used to the fact that I live so close to the beach so that I never lose sight of the beauty that I am blessed enough to be surrounded by. I still am so thrilled that I got to collaborate with Victoria’s Secret on some of my own person styles in their swimwear. If you didn’t see my first post on them you can check it out here. Mermaid in Waiting

The sun is falling asleep and the sand is glowing pink. One of my favorite things to do is watch the amazing sunsets here in Huntington Beach. They have been so beautiful lately so I tossed on one of my flowing dresses from Lulu’s and headed for a stroll to watch the sky change colors. I really like the romantic look of this dress along with the open back on it.

The Freckles in the Sky

Balboa Island bring out the kid in me with the smell of corn dogs and cotton candy lingering in the air. The simple arcade is vacant and the ferris wheel is idle making the perfect relaxed evening out. The lovely people over at Selection Nation sent over a couple necklaces that were so beautiful and brought the perfect pop to my outfit.

Pretty in Pink

Sun is out, waves are crashing, and the sand is still warm while venturing over to Crescent Bay in Laguna beach where I was instantly thrown into paradise. I always get thrilled over a new bikini because I am in one almost everyday, so I was ecstatic when I was given the opportunity to collaborate with Victoria’s Secret swim line. I am wearing the Bombshell top and matching bottoms from their very sexy collection. It fit so comfortably and had great coverage along with making you feel like a super model when you put it on! It also comes in over 15 different colors and patterns 😉

Fallin’ For You

The Fall clouds have been glooming over Huntington Beach these past few mornings creating a heather grey blanket over the sky while the sun hides under it. Though I miss the rays warming up the beach and prolonging the life of my tan, I am digging how the streets have slowed down to cool off. Throwing on a loose sweater makes me feel cozy and stylish which sometimes is a hard combo to master when it comes to fashion. Luckily, our friend’s over at Lulu’s sent over some warm threads that are soft to touch and have the right amount of funky to liven up the gloom in the air.
