My favorite thing about Hurley Girl’s products is how much I am able to play with their styles to either dress them up or dress them down. This shirt I specifically am intrigued with is one you can wear forwards, backwards, and even inside out. Also I am reppin’ HB when I wear it so that is always a plus 😉 I paired it with a long black skirt Maxi dress and also some boot heels from Guess.
Being the bikini connoisseur I am, I always love a new suit to wear while laying out and get minimal tan lines. I teamed up with TeenyB Bikini and was so impressed with the suits they sent over. They are so comfortable and had me feeling like a summer goddess when I tried them out by the 17th street tower in HB. Keep an eye out for more posts in their awesome bikinis! For the daring girl who likes the Brazilian styles that echo a Hawaiian surfer feel, these 2 are my favorites 🙂
Continuing on with our 90s week I pulled one of my favorite decade styles and cruised around downtown Huntington Beach. Spaghetti strapped sundresses with a white baby tee underneath is a perfect way to prolong your summer summer wardrobe when it gets slightly chilly outside. And who can forget jelly shoes?! I rocked these when I was a kid (I had the clear sparkly pink ones) and I am so excited that they are making their way back into our closets.

If the 90’s are back then color me ecstatic. I went on a quest to find some amazing clear bags. I remember transparent EVERYTHING being popular on the kindergarden playground and I was absolutely obsessed with thinking about owning a house full of clear couches, phones, dishes, and backpacks. (I was always an interesting kiddo) I was really happy when I came across Clear-Handbags and they sent over my dream backpack. I was also gaga over Lisa Frankback in the 90’s so I decided to take a page out of Cassandra’s book (see post here.) and decorated my new bag to give it an even more 90’s feel. Keep checking back with us this week as we fill the blog with our favorite decade!
What’s in my bag? Headphones and iPod because I can’t go anywhere without my music, ring pop to fuel my sugar rush, Vera Bradley compact mirror, pencil case, and note paper, journal for my thoughts, and my favorite magazines.
Looking for a trendy online boutique to find the perfect dress? Aren’t we girls always on that search? I Â have a special place in my heart for Red Dress Boutique because I Â find myself pointing out almost every item saying “I need this!”…Not in a compulsive way, these dresses are all really a must have in your closet. Their store is also full of adorable bags, scarves, and jewelry. If you’re somewhere a little frigid in the winter you can always pair them with tights, knee socks, and cute sweaters.
The Fall clouds have been glooming over Huntington Beach these past few mornings  creating a heather grey blanket over the sky while the sun hides under it. Though I miss the rays warming up the beach and prolonging the life of my tan, I am digging how the streets have slowed down to cool off. Throwing on a loose sweater makes me feel cozy and stylish which sometimes is a hard combo to master when it comes to fashion. Luckily, our friend’s over at Lulu’s sent over some warm threads that are soft to touch and have the right amount of funky to liven up the gloom in the air.
Ever wonder how to truly add some funk to your wardrobe and keep the classiness to a level high? We both get a kick out of finding pieces of wardrobe that really convey our inner weirdness and vibrant personalities. Joyrich has some totally stellar jackets, hoodies, dresses, and tee’s that will leave you wanting more!
Newport Beach has been beautiful lately, then again, when is it not? I caught the sun just before it left only the moon hanging in the sky and turned it a beautiful pink and blue. Mandalynn Swimwear sent a bikini that is so chic and girly which made me instantly fall in love when I put it on. My Flowerbomb top and bottom are made of Spandex and Nylon that are soft and light on the skin. They are moderately cheeky and perfect for any body type.

I always love a skull as a statement piece on whatever I’m wearing. A very fun clothing line called AvaLynn James sent over this pleather skirt embellished with gold skull studs. With Halloween coming up you could use this skirt for some awesome costume ideas and still wear it after the candy corn holiday is over. One of my favorite colors to wear is black, sometimes it’s a little difficult to pull off without looking goth so I went with light eyes, natural lips, and opaque tights as opposed to solid black.
What are the best threads for when you shred? I love wearing funky and fun outfits when I am out with my friends enjoying a cruise day down the boardwalk. It’s always great to throw on your favorite pair of shorts, grab your board, and go. But it’s also fun to do that in style.
