Ahh, California sunshine in the middle of April…couldn’t get any better. I’ve been exploring more different boutiques and I must say I love what I am finding. Magnolia Boutique sent me this beautiful maxi skirt that I couldn’t wait to get my hands on. The colors, the print, and the softness were all enough to make me fall in love. This skirt would be perfect for the beach, a stroll downtown, church, out for brunch, and on date night. Keep your eyes peeled for more outfits from this awesome store! 😉

My Day with Julie

So I decided I wanted to expand outside of the walls of Style Smoothie and find beauty in other people around me…I have some very awesome friends who love fashion/style/beauty just as much as I do and I want to share a piece of that friendship with all of you! my friend Julie is one of the most positive and humble people you can find. We ventured around the Trinity Trails, picked flowers, and shared secrets. My gal Julie resides in Fort Worth, Texas and is wearing a dress from Nordstrom. She also is vegan and can make just about any yummy treat from scratch. This was my day with Julie. 🙂

We’re Burning all the Bridges

Happy April! There’s always so much beauty to be explored and that’s just what happened at Casper’s Nature Park in San Juan. Aside from the massive amounts of squirrels and occasional prickly plants this place was amazing. There are horses, wide open fields, and fun trees to climb in 😉 I suggest everyone makes a pit stop here this Spring! I am getting more into drape skirts with their asymmetrical look and dress up or down capability. I wear mine with heels as well as my chucks. Beauty & the Beach

Im getting a little more into crochet lately so I was really excited when I saw all the options from Beauty and the Beach (sweet Disney reference, anyone?) They have great bikinis plus the crochet cover ups which I adored for strolls along the water. What do you guys think? Would you sport a crochet style?

This cover up ties in the front but I loved how it looked tied in the back for a few of these photos 😉

I loved the colors in this bikini so much. A pop of color under a white cover up looks awesome.

I think it’s obvious I am a sucker for a sundress. I love the maxi styles, flowy and flowery. I always fall in love with new beach spots where I can explore on the rocks and soak in the fact that I am blessed to live here. I ventured over to Sycamore Beach with a pal of mine where I donned some new styles that you should pick up for this Spring.

Daydreamin of how close summer is I can taste it. I threw on my Supercolour crop and Wonderland Honolulu shorts for a perfect combo of California class. I also found a great top from Wonderland Honolulu that goes great over a bikini with it’s sheer back and fun front pattern. I Can’t Hide the Way I’m Feelin’

It’s almost Spring, what the heck! I don’t really mind because that means I will get to go back to living life in nothing but a bikini. I’m all for comfort, bold colors, or fun prints. Greenlee Swim sent over this rad suit that fit me perfectly and looked like every surfer girls dream. You can mix and match your suit, I had a red top (get it here) and navy blue bottoms (get them here). Mix up the colors and styles to see what you come up with!

I have been seeing wrap dresses everywhere lately and wanted one ever since I stumbled upon them when I was browsing dresses on the internet with one of my best friends. I was particularly excited when Shanna’s Threads sent over this royal blue maxi wrap dress. The material is so comfortable and you can pretty much wear this dress anywhere. I also paired this dress with my black booties from BC Footwear.

So, as soon as I saw this awesome bikini from Toxic Sadie I knew it was made for me. It’s psychedelic pattern and sexy front cross tie with embellished bottoms were calling my name. I had a fun jam session in Laguna Beach while enjoying the new suit…(It even comes with caution tape for how hott you will look 😉 ) Check out their other swimwear too!
